Haiku Project - Art Docents

I spent the afternoon working with a group of 5th graders on the art of Haiku. After learning the basic structure and some background on this form of poetry, the kids got to work writing their own, and creating a watercolor to illustrate their ideas. A fun, funny, colorful, messy and beautiful time was had by all.
